SiteMods is a web development identity focused on clear architecture, useful experiences, and systems that can be understood after launch—not only while they are being built.
What SiteMods Represents
This website is the home of a growing development practice and the reusable tools that support it. It explains the thinking behind the work, documents the current WordPress framework stack, and provides working examples of the layouts and content those foundations can support.
The broader purpose is not limited to one platform or one pair of frameworks. Each project begins with its own audience, information, operations, constraints, and maintenance needs. Technology is selected and shaped in response to those needs.
The Goal
Create websites that communicate clearly, support real work, and remain easier to operate, review, and extend.
The Method
Separate shared foundations, optional capabilities, and project-specific decisions so each can change for the right reason.
Reusable where it should be. Specific where it needs to be. Quiet when it is not in use.
From General Needs to Focused Tools
WordPress currently plays a significant role in SiteMods development. Plugin Framework and Theme Framework provide stable foundations; extensions group optional behavior; and final site-specific plugins and themes carry the functionality and design unique to a website. That technical path appears after the broader development goals are understood.
Is SiteMods only for WordPress?
No. SiteMods is presented first as a web development practice. The current public framework documentation is WordPress-specific because that is where the reusable component system is established today.
How are the frameworks used?
They are used as private development foundations rather than public self-service products. Review the SiteMods Development Process to see how shared components and site-specific work fit together.
